Nobody asked them to use it that way. They just did.

I spent a long time thinking that managing platform operations and infrastructure meant choosing between structure and flexibility.

Pick a rigid framework and you get reliability, right up until the day it can't bend to what you actually need, and you're stuck. Pick flexibility and you get duct-taped scripts, a graveyard of one-off wrappers, and a lack of control nobody signs up for on purpose.

Swamp has changed my mind. It's the first thing that's given me both at once: structure where I needed guardrails, flexibility to integrate into everything else I've needed to run a platform.

Today's news

Today Swamp Club raised $7M in seed funding, led by Amplify Partners, with Encoded Ventures, Jesse Robbins, and Scott Tolinski also participating.

I could talk about the round. I'd rather talk about what people did with it.

What people built, unprompted

  • Agentic code review running 8x cheaper and 3x faster
  • A science lab
  • A fleet of robot arms
  • An entire sales pipeline
  • Thousands of users, 340 million+ events from people running Swamp

Nobody asked them to use it that way. They just did.

That's the part of this I actually care about. A funding round tells you what investors believe about where this goes next. A science lab and a fleet of robot arms running on the same primitives that also run code review tell you something else entirely: that the structure held, and the flexibility didn't run out, in domains we never designed for and never had to.

Thank you

Saying "I'm grateful to the team and everyone that's backed us" undersells how thankful I am to everyone that has supported the journey so far.
